Welcome Home!!!?

James has been in sunny, warm, gorgeous, tropical Hawaii alllllll week (for an academic conference, not just pleasure...or so the story goes) and we've missed him a LOT. We just want to give him a nice, (not as) warm (as Hawaii) welcome home!

Dear Daddy,

We hope you've had fun in Hawaii without us! We've been having fun too! We've been wishing you were home all week, but more and more the longer you're gone and the less sleep Mommy has...Can't wait to see you!

Love,
Lilly, Maggie, and Olivia

p.s.

You've been missing out on this...
(We built our little wagons that Grandpa sent us!)

And this...
(Maggie got a haircut... and still doesn't know it. HA!)

(Olivia being cute!)

And a WHOLE LOT of this...
(This is since Wednesday morning.)(BTW, it's snowed about an inch since I took these pictures this morning, and we're to expect 4-6 more inches in the next 24 hours. Yikes!)

There should be a new rule... husbands aren't allowed to leave Ohio in the winter. I can't believe you have to shovel all of that yourself! Can I send my husband over to help you? Or call some of your neighbor boys to come do it for you? ;)

You are so tough. I can't believe you've lasted this long without a break. You are super mommy for sure!

P.S. Your girls are just the cutest. I love them so much.

I was thinking of the shoveling, too. YIKES!! Don't show him those pictures--I'd never come back from Hawaii after seeing that snow! Although, your kids pictures will be enough :) I especially love the ones of Maggie with a hammer (so awesome) and Olivia in the bath. Too cute!!

That is a lot of snow and lot of cute!

Being momma alone is tricky. Looks like you did a great job staying happy.

I've had a neighbor boy knock on my door every day this week asking to shovel my driveway. Today it was really funny, "Um, you have a LOT of snow on your driveway..." I told him to come back tomorrow because I'm not going anywhere today. Now I just need to scrounge up some cash to pay him...I just haven't been to the bank!

Wow, look at all that SNOW! And I can't believe your girls are so big. I still think of Maggie as Olivia's age, a little baby with hardly any hair. Now look how long and beautiful her hair is! And Olivia is huge! Such cute girls.

I think next time James should bring you with him. ;)

I am so glad James is home! You are super Mom! I love the wagons you made with the girls and you even made a sneaky haircut. I might have to get some pointers on how you did that one.

I bet you will be happy to have James home, if anything to deal with all that shoveling! Travis will be gone for 4 days next week and I'm dreading it!
